Kavin’s ‘Dada’ set for TV premiere on May 1

The romantic comedy-drama film 'Dada' will have its world television premiere on May 01 on the occasion of International Workers' Day.
The film stars Kavin and Aparna Das in the lead roles. It has an ensemble cast and features actors K. Bhagyaraj, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, VTV Ganesh, Pradeep Antony, Harish K, Fouzee, Kamaldeep, Arvind Ezhilarasan, Master Ilan, Arjunan, Master Arav, and Master Bedal Sanjay in supporting roles.The film is written and directed by Ganesh K. Babu. The music is composed by Jen Martin.

Talking about the film and its TV premiere, director Ganesh K. Babu said, "I am glad that I worked with Kavin sir. We chose a soft and delightful tempo for the film rather than an action-oriented format. Kavin and Aparna Das are big stars in the industry, and it was an exciting experience to direct them together. Both of them are fantastic actors and very grounded. I am glad that popular Tamil television is telecasting the film and we look forward to the audiences having a great time."

Manikandan (Kavin) and Sindhu (Aparna Das) are final year college students. They are totally in love with each other. Sindhu gets pregnant accidentally and refuses to terminate the pregnancy. When Mani and Sindhu live together through monetary issues, cracks develop between them. Due to an unexpected incident, Mani is forced to be a single father. The rest of the film focuses on the struggles that Mani goes through. Whether Mani and Sindhu will get together, forms the rest of the story.
