Cauvery row: 25-yr-old Tamil Nadu youth self-immolates over govt’s inaction

A 25-year-old man from Tamil Nadu’s Erode set himself ablaze over the governmant’s inaction on the Cauvery issue. Before dying, the man wrote on his residence’s compound walls that Cauvery is the lifeline of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Despite being rescued by public who took rushed him to the hospital, the man received over 80% burn and succumbed to his injuries.
