Tyler Perry’s upcoming legal thriller Duplicity is all set to premiere on March 20, 2025. Despite his packed schedule, Perry’s production company, Tyler Perry Studios, doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, this will be Perry’s first film release of the year, following a busy 2024 where he launched three films on major streaming platforms.
The movie Duplicity follows the story of Marley, a determined lawyer who finds herself caught in a deeply personal legal case. Marley’s best friend, Fela, loses her husband under mysterious circumstances, and Marley decides to investigate his death. Helping her is her lover, Tony, a retired detective with valuable skills that may help crack the case. As they search for answers, the story dives into themes of justice, betrayal, and trust—common threads often found in Tyler Perry’s storytelling.
The teaser trailer for Duplicity was released in February 2025, giving fans a first look at this intense courtroom drama. Perry’s fans are expecting another gripping film packed with suspense and emotional twists.
