Amid reports that Vivek Ramaswamy may bow out of the Department of Government Efficiency to contest for the Ohio Governor post, Ramaswamy Monday posted a photo with Elon Musk and captioned it as "A new dawn'. The photo comes as the Washington Post reported that a major surprise is awaiting Donald Trump and DOGE as there will be a lawsuit against DOGE accusing it of breaking a 1972 law. The law requires advisory committees to follow certain rules of disclosure, hiring and other practices. But DOGE is not doing any of them and not a single member of DOGE is a federal employee, the lawsuit said.

Donald Trump's first executive order on DOGE
One of the first executive orders Donald Trump plans to sign as president will be to give legality to DOGE, Semafor reported. DOGE is tasked to come up with proposals to reduce government bureaucracy, government cost and unnecessary regulations. DOGE is supposed to work with the Office of Management and Budget and all agencies to shrink the federal workforce, federal spending and federal regulatory burdens.
