Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
In times when a lot of manufacturers are struggling with production, Royal Enfield is thriving having launched several new motorcycles in the past months and now gearing up to introduce even more. While the 350cc and the 650cc engine platform is familiar to us, there's also an all-new engine platform with a 450cc displacement. Like the 650 twin has found a place in a roadster, cafe racer, and an upcoming cruiser, the 450 will also spawn several motorcycle forms. Here we take a look at three new motorcycles Royal Enfield will launch in 2023.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
The 650cc parallel-twin engine that powers the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 will now be the powerhouse for the new and upcoming Super Meteor 650 that was first unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, followed by its India debut at Rider Mania 2022 in Goa.
So, this means the air-oil-cooled engine will give the Super Meteor 650 47 hp and 52 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The Super Meteor 650 is slated to be the most modern Royal Enfield yet with USD forks and it'll also be the first 650 to get the Tripper navigation pod as an option.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
The slightly larger and substantially more powerful Himalayan, compared to the current 411cc ADV, the Himalayan 450 will be an all-new motorcycle with a new engine too. It'll be a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes about 40 hp, paired with a six-speed transmission. Expected to launch sometime in the second half of 2023, the Himalayan 450 would likely carry a price tag of about Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new 450cc engine platform will also go on to create a series of motorcycles like the Hunter 450. Most importantly, the 450cc engine puts Royal Enfield in the Dakar Rally motorcycle segment, and considering that the company has reeled in CS Santosh, we could be heading towards Royal Enfield's debut at Dakar soon.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350
The Classic 350 has been upgraded to the new J series engine platform, in fact none of the motorcycles in RE's lineup are now powered by the older UCE engine, except the Bullet 350. Soon after the price announcement for the Super Meteor 650 next month, Royal Enfield could introduce the new bullet 350 with the same engine that powers the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350.
So, the new Bullet 350 should feature output figures that are similar, if not identical, to those of the Meteor’s and Classic’s 20.4 hp and 27 Nm. It could eventually also give rise to a new 350cc Bobber.
