CHANDIGARH: Former finance minister of Haryana, Captain Abhimanyu, has termed the Haryana Budget 2025 presented by the BJP government as a historic and people-centric budget.
He stated that under the leadership of chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, this budget marks a significant step towards realizing the aspirations of the people of Haryana. Captain Abhimanyu highlighted that this budget reflects the true spirit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” by ensuring the welfare and empowerment of every section of society.
Captain Abhimanyu emphasised that this budget will empower farmers, women, youth, and traders, lifting Haryana to new heights of prosperity.
He stated that the BJP government’s intentions are clear, policies are transparent and the goal is development. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to CM Nayab Singh Saini and the finance minister for presenting this inclusive and visionary budget and expressed confidence that it would lay the foundation for a prosperous and self-reliant Haryana.
Here are the key announcements made in the budget.
Women empowerment – Monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,100 will be provided to women to make them financially independent.
Support for women entrepreneurs – Interest-free loans of up to Rs 1 lakh will be provided to women entrepreneurs to encourage self-employment.
Relief for poor families – Gas cylinders will be provided to poor families at a subsidized rate of Rs 500, easing the burden of rising costs.
Employment generation – A target of creating 2 lakh government jobs over the next five years has been set, creating new employment opportunities for the youth of the state.
Investment in education and healthcare – Establishing a medical college in every district and significant investments in the education and healthcare sectors will strengthen the state’s social infrastructure.
