The incident occurred on April 24 in Bada Siyur village. Babita reported the assault to police, who have registered a case against Sagar under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

BHADOHI: A man attacked his wife and forcibly shaved her head when she protested against his use of offensive language in Uttar Pradesh, according to police on Tuesday.
Inspector Anjani Kumar Rai of Aurai police station reported that the incident occurred on April 24 in Bada Siyur village.
Around 1 am, Ram Sagar purportedly used offensive language towards his wife Babita (29) during a disagreement.
When Babita voiced her objection, he reportedly threatened her life, physically attacked her, and proceeded to remove her hair using a sharp implement, as stated by the officer.
Following the incident, Babita reached out to her mother, Urmila Devi, the next day and informed her about the situation before leaving for her parents' residence.
On Sunday evening, Babita, accompanied by her mother, visited the Aurai police station to register an official complaint, requesting stern action against the perpetrator.
The police have registered a case under applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the accused, who remains at large while authorities continue their search efforts.
