Western Railway to run Superfast Tejas Special Train between Mumbai Central-Rajkot

Western Railway will operate the Superfast Tejas Special Train between Mumbai Central and Rajkot to accommodate passengers during the summer rush. This special train, numbered 09005/09006, will make 34 trips, running on specific days of the week from April 21st/22nd to May 28th/29th.

MUMBAI: For the convenience of passengers and to meet the travel demand, especially during the summer season, Western Railway decided to run the Superfast Tejas Special Train on Special Fare between Mumbai Central and Rajkot.
Train No. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central - Rajkot Superfast Special will have 34 trips. Train No. 09005 Mumbai Central - Rajkot Special will depart from Mumbai Central every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11.20 pm and will reach Rajkot at 11.45 am the next day. This train will run from April 21 to May 28.
Similarly, Train No. 09006 Rajkot – Mumbai Central Special will depart from Rajkot every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 6.30 pm and will arrive at Mumbai Central at 7.30 am the next day. This train will run from April 22 to May 29.
En route, this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, and Wankaner stations in both directions. This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, and AC 3-Tier coaches.
