2 brothers among 4 dead in 3 accidents

Hazaribag: Four, including two brothers and a would-be bride, died in Hazaribag and Chatra road accidents since Friday night.
Brothers Raju and Karan were mowed down by a four-wheeler when they were walking on the Charhi-Ghato road in Hazaribag district on Friday night.
In another incident, Kiran Devi (55) of Bonga was crushed to death by a four-wheeler at Hadari village in Ichak block of Hazaribag on Saturday. The deceased woman was returning home on a motorcycle from her daughter's house located at Mokatma village.
In Chatra, one Sanju Kumari (19) from Fagua village under Pratappur police station limits died on Friday after falling from a motorcycle a day earlier. Sanju's father Arjun Das had booked a bike as a gift for her would-be groom. She went with her brother Anil Kumar Das to bring the bike from Sherghati in Gaya district but fell down near Bharhi on the way back. Her marriage was scheduled with Mantu Das of Bijua Devchandih in Dumria of Bihar on May 6. She was referred to Gaya, from where she was referred to Ranchi for advanced treatment. Sanju succumbed to her injuries during treatment in Ranchi.
