Kenishaa Francis reveals Jayam Ravi's wife Aarti Ravi is tarnishing his image: 'Aarti cannot use me as a scapegoat to hide her actions'

Singer Kenishaa Francis has been clarifying that she has no connection with actor Jayam Ravi’s divorce announcement from his wife, Aarti Ravi, for the past few weeks. After social media users spread rumors against the singer, Jayam Ravi publicly confessed that his divorce has no connection with Kenishaa and requested everyone not to drag an individual into his family issue.
Finally, Kenishaa addressed the rumors and mentioned that Jayam Ravi is seeking a divorce due to the torture he is dealing with from his wife, Aarti, and her family. She met Jayam at the launch of her song “Idhai Yaar Solvaaro.” Kenishaa shared with DT Next that Jayam contacted her in June, expressing a need for professional help due to feeling "mentally and emotionally bruised and battered" from his marriage.
She revealed that the ‘Siren’ actor reached out to her only after filing for a divorce by mutual consent through his lawyer, as he wanted to keep the situation private and not let anyone in Chennai know about it.
Kenishaa accused Aarti and her family of "abusing" Jayam Ravi, stating that the pain he experienced from his family far surpasses that of losing his parents. As a therapist, she found it painful to learn about his struggles with Aarti and her parents, asserting that no one deserves such abuse, regardless of gender. She mentioned that she could present evidence from their therapy sessions in court, with or without Ravi's consent. "But, as a therapist, I can tell you that the pain Jayam Ravi’s family has put him through is greater than the pain of losing his parents. As a therapist, it was beyond painful for me to hear about his struggles with Aarti and her parents," she added.
Kenishaa claimed that Aarti was intentionally trying to "tarnish" Jayam's image, asserting that any issues related to the divorce should be addressed with Jayam and their families. She accused Aarti of attempting to use her as a scapegoat to hide her actions, stating that Aarti's recent behavior in damaging Jayam's reputation and finances was highly questionable. "What Aarti has been doing in the last month in tarnishing his image and affecting his bank accounts is questionable," Kenishaa emphasized.

Kenishaa hinted at the possibility of legal action against those spreading rumors, stating that she could not continue to engage in the situation. She warned that if the rumors persisted, she might need to consider pursuing legal action for defamation.

On the work front, Jayam Ravi will next be seen in M Rajesh’s ‘Brother’ and ‘Genie,’ directed by Arjunan.
