Box Jellyfish
Box Jellyfish are particularly found in the Indo-Pacific region and off the coast of Northern Australia. These sparkling organisms can swim actively and when touched their tentacles release highly potent venom that is delivered through the stinging cells on them. This venom can cause excruciating pain, paralysis and even death.

Poison Dart Frog
These colourful frogs with strikingly beautiful patterns are one of the most dangerous amphibians on the planet. Found in the rain forests of Central and South America, they carry venom on their skin which can kill as many as 20,000 mice when touched. Their venom is so poisonous that in the early days, it was used by indigenous tribes to put on their arrows and darts before hunting.

Deathstalker Scorpion
Found in the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East, the deathstalker scorpion has a lethal sting that can be extremely fatal. Its venom had a combination of neurotoxins that can target the nervous system, paralyzing the victim in mere seconds. The sting can lead to symptoms like severe pain, fever, increased heart rate, convulsions and laboured breathing.

Cone Snail
The Cone snails are extremely venomous sea snails found in warm waters. You may end up picking these patterned snails as souvenirs from your beach trip, but they have harpoon-like teeth that can inject venom into your body. Puffer Fish
While these fishes might look cute with their puffed appearance, their body possesses a potent neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin. It is a non-protein neurotoxin that blocks sodium channels in the nerves and muscle tissues leading to paralysis and death. Cassowary
This large, flightless bird found in the forests of New Guinea and northern Australia is considered to be the most dangerous bird. Weighing up to 310 kg, it can grow to the height of a human and is flightless. But, their form of weapon is their legs with which they can leap up to seven feet high and deliver powerful kicks and scratches with their claws, harming their enemy, including humans.
