IPL Purple cap rankings: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Vaibhav Arora has made an impactful entry in the Purple Cap race for IPL 2025. After an impressive spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Arora has climbed the Purple Cap rankings to jointly occupy the third spot in the leading wicket-takers’ list. With six wickets in three matches, he has proven to be a vital asset for KKR, showcasing both consistency and skill.
Arora’s teammate, Varun Chakravarthy, has also left no stone unturned with his stellar performances in the tournament so far. He has taken six wickets and shares the third spot in the Purple Cap standings. With his mystery spin, he continues to challenge the batters.
Chennai Super Kings' Noor Ahmed remains at the top of the IPL Purple Cap list with nine wickets in three matches. Delhi Capitals’ Mitchell Starc is just behind in second place with eight wickets, including the best bowling figure of 5/35.
