Facing Bumrah for the first time in IPL 2025, Kohli launched the second ball of the fourth over over deep mid-wicket for a towering six �?his first of the match and a powerful statement in their ongoing duel.

Despite the early blow, Bumrah kept it tight, conceding just 10 runs in the over with figures of 1 6 1 1 0 1.
Before the match, Bumrah had dismissed Kohli five times in 16 IPL innings, but Kohli’s aggressive strike rate of 147.36 against the pacer keeps the battle perfectly poised.
