UK-based iPhone keyboard maker Clicks has announced its first Clicks Keyboards for Android smartphones. These new cases will offer a physical keyboard experience to Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy and Motorola Razr devices. Similar to the Clicks Keyboard for iPhone launched last year, the Android versions of the keyboard cases aim to offer users an improved typing experience alongside benefits such as increased screen space and convenient keyboard shortcuts. The initial lineup includes three Clicks Keyboards designed specifically for Android smartphones. With these cases, the company is planning to extend the Clicks experience to a wider range of users beyond the Apple ecosystem.

Clicks keyboards for Android smartphones: Key features
The keyboards are designed for a more comfortable typing experience. The keys promise tactile feedback, making it easier to type with speed.
With the keyboard moved off the display, users get 50% more screen space for apps and content. This allows for an uncluttered view while working or browsing.
Built-in keyboard shortcuts help users quickly launch apps and navigate through Android. Additionally, the dedicated Gemini key provides instant access to AI features with a single press.
For convenience in low-light conditions, the keyboard includes a backlight, ensuring clear visibility while typing. The Clicks App also allows users to customise their typing experience, offering various personalisation options.
The keyboard connects via USB-C, so there is no need for charging or Bluetooth pairing. Users can charge their phones as usual without any interruptions.
Users can add the lightweight keyboard when needed, or leave it on all the time. These keyboards not only add an extra layer of protection but also come in various colour options to increase the phone’s visual appeal.
