Fans of 'Miss Scarlet' can rejoice as the popular detective drama has officially been renewed for a sixth season. The upcoming season will once again feature Kate Phillips in the lead role, with production set to begin this month in Belgrade, Serbia. Alongside Phillips, several familiar faces will return, along with some exciting new additions to the cast.
According to recent reports, Kate Phillips will reprise her role as Eliza Scarlet, continuing her journey as a determined female detective in Victorian London. Tom Durant-Pritchard will be back as DI Alexander Blake, while Cathy Belton will return as Ivy. Other familiar characters making a comeback include Paul Bazely as Clarence, Simon Ludders as Mr. Potts, Tim Chipping as Detective Phelps, and Ansu Kabia as Moses.
There will also be new faces joining the show. Sam Buchanan has been cast as Detective George Willows, a new officer at Scotland Yard. Additionally, Grace Hogg-Robinson will portray Isabel Summers, a young woman working in the Clerical Office alongside Ivy.
The upcoming season will focus on various evolving relationships within the show. Eliza Scarlet and DI Blake will continue working together but will face new challenges in their professional dynamic. Meanwhile, Ivy and Mr. Potts will navigate their married life and adjust to their new reality.

A new detective will be settling into his role at Scotland Yard, bringing fresh dynamics to the team. Although Nash will not be physically present, his influence will still cause trouble for Eliza and her work. Fans can also expect to see Moses Valentine returning to assist Eliza and her team with their latest investigations.
Season 5 of 'Miss Scarlet' is scheduled to premiere in the UK this March. The show will air on U&alibi. While details about the international release of Season 6 have not been confirmed, previous seasons have been available on PBS Masterpiece in the United States, so it is likely that the new season will also be accessible on similar platforms.
Ivan Zivkovic and Rachael New will be directing the new season.
