US approves $4 billion in military aid to Israel

US secretary of state Marco Rubio said Saturday he had signed a declaration to expedite delivery of around $4 billion in military assistance to Israel. Trump's admin has approved nearly $12 billion in military sales to Israel, Rubio said, adding it "will continue to use all available tools to fulfill America's long- standing commitment to Israel's security." This is the second time in recent weeks the US has declared an emergency to approve weapons sales to Israel.
