Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will declare the Class 10 results on Friday at 8am on its official website.
This year, the exams began 15 days earlier than last year. The exams were conducted from Feb 27 to March 17 this year. A total of approximately 8.92 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams across the state.
The results are being released just three days after the Class 12 results were declared.
Last year, the Class 10 results were announced on May 11, with a record-breaking pass percentage of 82.56%. Among the registered students were 7.62 lakh regular candidates, 15,548 private students, 82,132 repeaters, and over 28,000 special category candidates. Notably, 4,285 differently abled students and 72 jail inmates also appeared for the exams.
Students can also get their results by sending their seat number via WhatsApp to 6357300971. Details regarding mark sheets and re-evaluation applications will be provided separately on the board website.
