TIRUPATI: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Lokesh's Yuvagalam padayatra, which was camping at Srikalahasti assembly constituency in Tirupati district, has been put on hold for two to three days following the untimely demise of Tollywood actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna.
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna who extended solidarity to his cousin Nara Lokesh and took part in the inaugural trek of Lokesh's Yuvagalam padayatra at Kuppam suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital at Bengaluru on January 27.

The 39-year-old actor died after battling for his life for more than two weeks at the Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital on Saturday night.
After his mortal remains were shifted to his residence at Mokila in Rangareddy district in Telangana, former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari, Nara Lokesh and his spouse Brahmani paid their final tributes to Nandamuri Taraka Ratna on Sunday.
The mortal remains of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna will be placed at the film chambers to facilitate the fans of the Nandamuri and Nara families to pay their final respects and the final rites of the actor will be held at the Mahaprasthanam on Monday.
Lokesh had been on a 4,000-km-long padayatra and had covered 296km thus far. However, he had to momentarily halt his journey to attend the funeral of his cousin, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, in Hyderabad. He will now resume his trek starting from the Srikalahasti assembly constituency.
