Class X exams to begin tomorrow, class 12th students write 1st paper
Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) Class 12 board exams commenced on Saturday, with Hindi as the first paper. A total of 2,40,356 students are appearing for the Class 12 board exams. The Class 10 examinations will begin on Monday, with 3,28,522 students enrolled.
The higher secondary school certificate examination is being conducted at 2397 centres across the state while the high school certificate examination will be conducted at 2523 centres.
CGBSE secretary Pushpa Sahu is leading the state-level flying squad, along with assistant professor Preeti Shukla and Dr Pradeep Kumar Sahu The state-level flying squad conducted surprise inspections at examination centres in Durg district.
The team visited Government High School, Urla; Higher Secondary School, Supela Bhilai; Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Higher Secondary School, New Khursipar; Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bhilai-03; and Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Charoda Patan.
No instance of cheating or misconduct were reported said the CGBSE secretary.
