Youth dies as speeding car rams bike in Gandhi Nagar

Bhopal: A speeding car allegedly hit a bike near the gate in front of Central Jail in the Gandhi Nagar area. The collision left two bike riders injured, one of whom succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Sunday evening, while the other was discharged after treatment. Gandhi Nagar police registered a case and started investigations.
Complainant, Ravi Dhakad, 30, a resident of Preet Nagar Colony, Chhola, runs a vegetable business. On March 24, he was travelling on a bike with the deceased, his friend Sajid Khan, 28, a resident of Annu Nagar, Chhola, from Gandhi Nagar to Karond Mandi when a speeding car from Dwarika Dham Colony hit them in front of Central Jail. Sajid suffered serious head injuries leading to excessive bleeding and unconsciousness. Locals rushed him to Hamidia Hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Sunday.
