He is also not retaliating strongly and seems to be caught in a situation where he is bearing a cross for someone," said Saritha. She spoke to TOI outside the office of the judicial magistrate court here where she had come in connection with two cases charged against her in Coimbatore.
Saritha also added that she feared for her life as she could be targeted to save influential people involved in the scandal. "The actual people involved in the scam are roaming free. Kerala chief minister has been unnecessarily targeted by media and some people. I do not wish to reveal the details at the moment," said Saritha. She also said she did have political and professional relationship with many people including senior representatives of the government as reported in the media. "None of the media personnel have approached me so far, but they have been printing stories with information supplied by vested interests. Fifty per cent of the stories are false," she added.
However, Saritha agreed to collecting money from two investors along with her partner Biju Radhakrishnan after promising to set up wind mills in Coimbatore. Saritha said the amount would be returned to the investors at the earliest.
Saritha was produced before judicial magistrate court -VI here in the city in connection with two cheating cases worth Rs 32.57 lakh on Friday. Judicial magistrate V Karthikeyan ordered that Saritha and her partner Biju Radhakrishnan be produced before the court on January 9, 2014 when the next hearing is due. R C Ravi, director of International Consultancy and Management Services (ICMS), also appeared before the court.
Later, Saritha was taken back to the women's prison in Attakulangara, Thiruvananthapuram. Biju Radhakrishnan is presently lodged at Kollam central prison.
