Dibrugarh: The Indian Army's Spear Corps organised ‘A Day with Company Commander' across Bordumsa, Kakopathar, and Margherita in Tinsukia district on Tuesday, in a bid to promote youth engagement and strengthen community ties.
The initiative brought together over 140 students and teachers from local schools, offering them a first-hand experience of military life while promoting values of discipline, leadership and patriotism.
"These initiatives serve a dual purpose — inspiring the next generation while strengthening our relationship with local communities. The enthusiasm we witnessed from the students was truly remarkable," a senior Army official said.
"Many youngsters in remote areas have limited exposure to career opportunities. Our goal is to broaden their horizons. Today's students are tomorrow's leaders, and we're committed to nurturing a relationship based on mutual respect and shared national goals," a senior Army official said.
