Man stabs wife 14 times, attacks mother-in-law

Indore: A man allegedly killed his wife by stabbing her 14 times in Bagli area of Dewas after a domestic dispute on Thursday night. When his mother-in-law she tried to save her daughter, he attacked her as well.
Sukhlal, originally from Kanad, was residing in Kirtankhedi. After an argument with his wife Sonu, Sukhlal reportedly stabbed her multiple times. When his mother-in-law, Rekhabai, attempted to intervene, she sustained serious injuries in the attack. Both women were immediately rushed to the govt hospital in Bagli, where doctors declared Sonu dead on arrival. Considering the severity of Rekhabai's condition, she was referred to Indore for further treatment.
The incident has left the local community in shock and authorities are currently investigating the case.
This is the second heinous murder in Dewas in two days.
