LU campus agog with sports, cultural events

Lucknow: The Inter-Hostel competition Fest 2025 at Lucknow University on Tuesday brought together students for sports, cultural, and literary events on the main campus.
At Paranjape ground, students competed in 100-metre and 200-metre races. Mahmudabad Hall secured the top position in both races for the men's category.
In the women's category, Chandrashekhar Girls' Hostel won the 100-metre race, Kailash Hostel won the 200-meter race, and Birbal Sahni Hostel won the 400-metre race. The relay race saw Tilak Hostel finish first. In Tug of War, Chandrashekhar Azad Girls' Hall finished first, while Tilak Hostel took second place. The Just-A-Minute (JAM) competition saw Subhash Hall take first place, while Mahmudabad Hall secured second and third places. In the quiz competition, Mahmudabad Hall took the top position, followed by Subhash Hall and Habibullah Hall. At Kailash Hostel, students participated in solo and group dance performances and a skit competition.
Vice-chancellor Prof Alok Kumar Rai, pro VC Manuka Khanna, chief provost Anoop Kumar Singh, director of Sanskritiki Anchal Srivastava were present on the occasion.
