Ban on plastic bottle in Kudremukh National Park
Udupi: The use of plastic bottles was completely banned in Kudremu00kh National Park from Thursday. For the convenience of tourists, drinking water units were set up at the Mulluru, Basrikallu, and Tanikodu checkposts, located along the roads within the national park. Tourists can fully benefit from these units and drink the water available there.
Tourists are completely prohibited from carrying any plastic bottles, and any plastic bottles in vehicles can be disposed of in the plastic waste collection units established at the checkposts before continuing their journey, as stated in a release from the office of the deputy conservator of forests, Kudremukh wildlife division.
