MANGALURU: 'Actor', Kannada movie produced by K M Veeresh and directed by Dayal Padmanabhan, will hit the silver screens across the state on February 19.
Veeresh said that the film, which has only one location, two characters and lasts for 100 minutes, will be screened at nearly 75 cinemas in all the district headquarters and major towns in the state.

"We have screened at the recently held Bengaluru International Film Festival and it has been well appreciated by the film fraternity. The film is all about the mental conflicts of a celebrity actor and it narrates the untold misery of an artist. All action takes place in one location," he said adding that the actor Naveen Krishna has donned the role of actor in the movie.
Naveen Krishna said that the screenplay of the movie will keep audience on the edge of their seat till the end. "Acting in 'Actor' was a challenge for me as I had to portray the role of a real-life actor. The conflicts in the film not limited to actors alone. It has a strong message that everyone needs to understand," he added.
The film, which was produced under the banner of Chitraloka Movies, has three songs sung by Goutham Sreevatsa, Srinivasa and Naveen Krishna. Music for the film has been composed by Goutham Sreevatsa.
