The 10-day long Ganesh festival will conclude today, on the occasion of 'Anant Chaturdashi', with the 'visarjan' (immersion) of idols. Ganpati visarjan marks the culmination of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

MUMBAI: The 10-day long Ganesh festival will conclude today, on the occasion of 'Anant Chaturdashi', with the 'visarjan' (immersion) of idols. Ganpati visarjan marks the culmination of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
There are 5,630 Sarvajanik Ganpati all over Mumbai and more than 32,000 household Ganpati idols. There are 129 places earmarked in Mumbai for immersion of the idols.
