MUMBAI: Citizens were majorly inconvenienced due to power cuts in Sion, Chunabhatti and other parts of the island city for over two-and-a-half hours on Tuesday.
The power outage was caused by the tripping of the 11KV feeder cable between Transit Camp no. 3 substation and Pratiksha Nagar no.1 substation.
"The power supply has been restored at the substation level, and it will be restored shortly at residences and commercial places," an official said.
