Businesman, two others held with cash

Patna: Police arrested Anup Kumar, a real estate businessman, along with two others, in Kadamkuan area while he was driving an SUV with a Jharkhand registration number on Sunday evening. The police recovered Rs 24.2 lakh in cash along with a liquor bottle from their possession. The SHO of Kadamkuan police station, Ajay Kumar, said during a vehicle-checking drive on the occasion Ram Navami, officers attempted to stop a vehicle with Jharkhand registration number, but it fled. "However, the authorities intercepted the vehicle near AN Sinha Marg," he said. The other accused were identified as Raghuveer Pratap Singh and Sushant Kumar.
