Massive footfall at Bhojpuri Mahotsav

Ara: The first-ever Bhojpuri Mahotsav was organised jointly by the art, culture and youth department and district administration at Veer Kunwar Singh stadium in Ara on Friday.
Inaugurating the programme, Bhojpur DM Tanai Sultania said, "First time the district administration has organised the Bhojpuri Mahotsav with a view to giving pan-India recognition to the rich Bhojpuri language, culture and its arts and crafts."
Among the various stalls put up by a host of cultural organisations as well as govt departments, the one put by the ‘Namami Gange' attracted the youths, who made a beeline for story books and comics being distributed free of cost.
Bhojpuri folk songs and dance and cultural programmes presented by the local artists and schoolchildren enthralled the audience.
