BEd student murdered in Morbi

Rajkot: A 21-year-old BEd student was stabbed to death at Khakhrala village in Morbi district on Wednesday night.
The alleged assailant, Sagar Dangar, first tried to shoot Kishan Rabari but the gun misfired. He then allegedly stabbed him multiple times.
Investigators are yet to determine the motive behind the killing.
Police have booked Dangar for murder based on the FIR filed by Kishan's father, Jagdish Rabari.
Jagdish, who was in Kutch for work, got a call from his younger son, Niraj, telling him that Kishan had been attacked near a shop and was bleeding severely. He was rushed to hospital but doctors there declared him dead. He had been stabbed in the chest and arm.
Investigating officer Nayan Vasava said Kishan was a BEd student in Rajkot and had returned to his village three days ago for a holiday. He was also preparing for various govt exams in Rajkot.
On the night of the killing, he was sitting with friends when Sagar suddenly appeared and attacked him. "There were no words spoken between the victim and the assailant. Kishan's father is clueless about what the motive could be," said Vasava.
