Gorakhpur: On the occasion of BJP's foundation day, Chief Minister
Yogi Adityanath hoisted the party flag atop the Hindu Sevashram building in the Gorakhnath temple complex on Sunday. He was joined by party leaders and workers, with whom he took selfies, extending greetings and best wishes on the special occasion.
Taking to social media platform X, CM Yogi said BJP was committed to the spirit of ‘Nation First', along with service, good governance and public welfare. "Heartfelt greetings to all dedicated, nation-first karyakartas of the world's largest political party on its Foundation Day," he posted. The event was attended by MP Ravi Kishan, BJP state vice-president and MLC Dr. Dharmendra Singh, city president Devesh Srivastava, former president Rajesh Gupta and others, including Achyutanand Shahi, Ajay Srivastava, Rishi Mohan Verma and Brijesh Singh Chhotu.
In another post, the CM urged party workers to hoist the BJP flag at their homes and offices and share selfies using the hashtag #BJP4ViksitBharat. "The BJP flag, symbolising our commitment to service and development, is my pride and inspiration," he wrote, adding that this act would be a tribute to the tireless efforts and sacrifices of those who built the party.
