The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the SSLC Exam 2 timetable for 2025. The exams will be held from May 26 to June 2, with practicals for JTS subjects on June 3. Music exams will be conducted separately in the afternoon. KSEAB releases SSLC Exam 2 2025 timetable; exams begin May 26
Karnataka SSLC Exam 2: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially announced the detailed timetable for the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 2 for the year 2025. According to the schedule released, the exam will commence on May 26, 2025, and conclude on June 2, 2025. The board has also shared the timetable for SSLC Exam 3, which will be held from June 23 to June 30, 2025.
The timetable is now available on the official website of KSEAB at kseab.karnataka.gov.in, and students are advised to download it for reference. The examinations will be conducted in a single shift from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, covering first languages, core subjects, and JTS subjects. The second and third language papers will also be held during the morning shift, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Detailed schedule of SSLC Exam 2
The SSLC Exam 2 begins with the first language paper and concludes with vocational subjects including elements of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, programming in ANSI 'C', and economics. Below is the date-wise exam schedule:

Music and practical examinations
Hindustani music and Carnatic music practical examinations will be held separately from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Their theory papers will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm, followed by practicals from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm. Additionally, students appearing for the JTS subjects (subjects 56, 57, 58 and 59) will attend their practical and oral examinations on June 3, 2025.

SSLC Exam 1 results declared
Earlier, KSEAB declared the results for SSLC Exam 1 on April 30, 2025. Out of 842,173 candidates who appeared, 524,984 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 62.34%. The performance of girl students remained significantly higher, with 296,438 of 400,579 girls passing the exam (74%). In contrast, 226,637 of 390,311 boys cleared the exam, leading to a boys' pass percentage of 58.07%.
Students who did not pass Exam 1 or wish to improve their scores now have the opportunity to appear in Exam 2 and Exam 3, as outlined in the schedule provided.
