Hair and makeup artist Sonam Jaiswal says, “For a flawless yet comfy pool party look, begin with a lightweight foundation that matches your natural tone, and allows your skin to breathe.” She recommends a nude eyeshadow to subtly enhance your eyes. “Add definition with winged eyeliner,” she adds. A touch of coral or peachy blush on the cheeks can provide a healthy, sun-kissed glow. “Complete your look with a coloured lip gloss to add a summery touch to your pout. For your hair, embrace beach waves or sleek, high ponies and buns,” she says, adding, “or leave it open to dry in the sun.”

Bright, bold, and pool-ready fashion
This summer is all about punchy solids, geometric prints and playful ailhouettes, according to stylist Anupam Chatterjee. “Infuse colours like hot pink, coral, vibrant orange, and sunshine yellow into everything, from high-waisted boxers with cropped tops to kaftans in swimwear fabrics,” he says, adding, “Keep the styling fuss-free – use hair bands, clips, and oversized sunnies.” For the shoot, Anupam added a pop of fun with chunky bangles and lots of layering. He suggests just a pop of blush and transparent mascara to let your natural glow shine through. And for footwear? Think tie-up gladiators and see-through kitten heels.
