Karnataka: Villagers break voting machines, thrash Election staff in Vijayapura
While the voting for Karnataka Assembly Elections is underway, the villagers broke voting machines in a voting centre at Masabinala. The villagers broke the EVM, VVPAT machines, which created panic at the voting centre. They also damaged the Election officers’ car and beat up the staff. Police and DC visited the site following the incident.
