The Bengali horror anthology Bhutopurbo unveiled its first official poster at a star-studded event, attended by its ensemble cast. Directed by Kakoli Ghosh and Avinab Mukherjee, the film revives Bengali ghost stories with a modern touch, adapting tales by Tagore, Bandopadhyay, and Sen. The anthology promises to evoke fear, nostalgia, and intrigue, bringing classic horror to life.

The first official poster of the Bengali horror anthology Bhutopurbo was unveiled at a star-studded gathering. The event was attended by the film's ensemble cast, including Amrita Chattopadhyay, Sandipta Sen, Rupanjana Maitra, Satyam Bhattacharya, Saptarshi Maulik, and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, who came together to mark the beginning of this spine-chilling horror movie.
Directed by the creative duo Kakoli Ghosh and Avinab Mukherjee, Bhutopurbo is a haunting anthology that intricately weaves together three timeless horror tales connected with each other Monihara by Rabindranath Tagore, Taranath Tantrik by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, and Shikar by Manoj Sen. The film promises to revive the frightening spirit of Bengali ghost stories with a modern cinematic touch.

The film has Satyam Bhattacharya portraying Phanibhushan and Amrita Chattopadhyay as Manimalika in Monihara. Rupanjana Maitra transforms into the enigmatic Matu Pagli, while Saptarshi Maulik brings the cult figure Taranath Tantrik to life. In the segment Shikar, Sandipta Sen plays the mysterious Tilottoma, and Suhotro Mukhopadhyay takes on the role of Purnendu.
