Welcome my travel partners. Today let me take you guys into the darkest and most intense realm of the Hollywood thriller movie ‘Prisoners’. #Simon says, “Guys so we are on our sophomore journey into the world created by the Hollywood renowned filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. We have already traveled into his film ‘Dune’ in one of our previous episodes. So kindly pass me the tickets as ETimes presents the 37th episode of #Whatif ‘Prisoners’ was made in Mollywood.”

#Simon says, “Loki, the most stylish detective, is on a hunt to catch the culprit behind the missing case of a 6-year-old girl named Anna. The character has all the qualities required for an actor to unveil his acting potential. Undoubtedly, the role played by the Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal can be reprised by the versatile actor of Mollywood, Fahadh Faasil, in the Malayalam remake of ‘Prisoners’.”

#Simon says, “Keller Dover, the wailing father who has lost his girl child Anna, would go to any extent to catch the person behind his daughter’s mysterious disappearance. Looking back, this same kind of role was played by the Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film ‘Adam Joan’. It would be a cakewalk for Prithviraj to perform the role of Keller Dover in the Mollywood remake of ‘Prisoners’.”

#Simon says, “‘Prisoners’ has a slow-paced investigation style and this is a huge red flag considering the fact that most of the audience will feel it is a bit laggy. As a solution to this, let's add the interesting Malayali Sherlock character Sethurama Iyer to the Mollywood remake of ‘Prisoners’ which can add a punch to the slow pace style of storytelling. Also, this can be helpful in further building up the world of ‘Prisoners’ same as the way Lokesh Kanagaraj did with ‘Vikram’”

#Simon says, “The character Alex Jones in ‘Prisoners’ is a unique one as he created confusion among the audience as he has both the traits of a villain and an innocent guy. Coming to the Mollywood remake of the film, the actor Indrans can perfectly play this role as he has aced in performing any kind of roles and also has an innocent nature to him.”
#Simon says, “So finally we have traveled the universe created by Denis Villeneuve for the second time and checked out most of the possibilities on #Whatif ‘Prisoners’ was made in Mollywood. We can also consider the directors Dileesh Pothan, K Madhu, or even Midhun Manuel Thomas in directing the Mollywood remake of such a thriller. Hope you guys loved today’s episode. Let's meet next week with yet another interesting episode of #Whatif. Till then bye.”
