Singer Ed Sheeran, actors Scarlett Johansson, Demi Moore, Kristen Wiig, and Severance star Adam Scott are among those featured in TIME Magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. However, this year’s list does not include any Indian personalities.
Big Names in Entertainment on the List
Some of the biggest names in entertainment have made it to the list. In the ‘Artists’ category, the featured names include Ed Sheeran, Scarlett Johansson, Adam Scott, Kristen Wiig, Rashida Jones, Diego Luna, Danielle Deadwyler, Hozier, and Mohammad Rasoulof.

Icons, Titans, Pioneers, and Innovators
Meanwhile, Demi Moore, Adrien Brody, and Hiroyuki Sanada were listed under the ‘Icons’ category. Blake Lively was featured among the ‘Titans.’ Rose made it to the ‘Pioneers’ list, while Snoop Dogg and Jon M. Chu were included in the ‘Innovators’ section.

How the List Is Curated
The list is curated through a detailed process led by Dan Macsai and Cate Matthews. TIME's journalists engage in a year-long process of debate and discovery, collaborating with sources and partners globally to narrow down the list to 100 individuals. This year, five cover stars were selected: Snoop Dogg, Demis Hassabis, Serena Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Demi Moore.
No Indian Stars in 2025, but Previous Years Saw Their Inclusion
The 2025 Time 100 list did not include any Indian stars. In contrast, last year, Alia Bhatt made the list, while Deepika Padukone appeared in 2018. Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan was named in the 2023 list, included in the 'Icons' section.
