Kanye West declares Playboi Carti won’t be collaborating with North West, amid the ongoing drama

Kanye West criticized Playboi Carti for requesting North West's vocals for a collaboration. He disapproved, stressing his parental rights and disappointment in the industry. West then asked for vocals from Carti's son, leading Iggy Azalea to urge West to leave her child out of the matter and seek peace.

Kanye West, the controversial rapper, declared that Playboi Carti went ‘TOO FAR’ for his request for North West’s vocals. The ‘Gold Digger’ singer shared a note on X, where he was criticizing Carti for asking the reality star mogul, Kim Kardashian to collaborate with her daughter, especially when she blocked the release of ‘Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,’ a song dedicated to Diddy.
West wrote, “I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI.” He added, “HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER.” The ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ singer further expressed his disappointment over the industry, stating that he does not care about the comments. Rejecting the collaboration between North West and Playboi Carti, Kanye concluded, “THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS.”

Just a few moments later, Kanye West posted a note asking for the vocals of Carti’s son, Onyx. West referred to the child as his nephew and asked his mother, Iggy Azalea, the Australian rapper for vocals by which he would rap about ‘ONE OF YOUR BUSINESSES.’
Reciprocating to the note, Iggy requested to leave her child out of the scenario. “Ye, I understand the point you want to make. I say this with kindness & as a mother: Please, leave my child out of this.”
The rapper further expressed, “At the end of the day, Jordan has other children (less famous… Does it matter?) but it seems only my son gets harassed in perpetuity about or on behalf of a man he has no relationship with.” Stating that Onyx is a child, she further wrote, “Does he read it? No. Hes a child. But it creates a digital legacy & an odd (shitty) situation for him to one day discover & endure in perpetuity from strangers online.”

At the end of the note, Iggy asked for peace in their life, “Can I please have some peace? Can my son have some peace?”
