Lady Gaga was 'unaware' of the thwarted bomb threat at the Rio De Janeiro concert with 2.5 M people? Singer claims she wasn't informed by officials
Lady Gaga’s free concert was attended by a record-breaking crowd of 2.5 million people in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, the highest number of attendees achieved by any female performer. However, the concert had been threatened with a bomb attack, and she was kept in the dark about it.

What happened at Lady Gaga's Brazil Concert?

After Gaga posted about the unforgettable concert, she thanked everyone who attended the concert and even mentioned the groundbreaking achievements. However, the 39-year-old did not mention a word about the bomb threat. According to TMZ, Gaga’s rep cited that she wasn’t aware of the thwarted bomb threat, and she did not hear about it until the next morning in the Sunday news. Additionally, the rep said that the police did not notify the singer about the risks before she set the stage on fire with her vocals and expansive choreography, and chose to perform because she was kept in the dark.
Gaga’s team acknowledged that they collaborated with the law enforcement officers closely to ensure all the safety measures were being taken care of, and were astonished by the lack of information.

Well, what did the police say?

According to the local police, a radicalised group that promoted hate speech towards the LGBTQ+ community was arrested on Sunday in connection with the life-threatening plan. The group is renowned for encouraging teenagers for violent actions such as using Molotov cocktails and homemade explosives.
The cops added that they made a quiet arrest of the group to avoid a massive panic, including millions of people, and were arrested for possessing illegal weapons.

What did Lady Gaga post on Instagram?

On Instagram, Lady Gaga posted, “Nothing could prepare me for the feeling I had during last night’s show—the absolute pride and joy I felt singing for the people of Brazil. The sight of the crowd during my opening songs took my breath away. Your heart shines so bright, your culture is so vibrant and special, I hope you know how grateful I am to have shared this historical moment with you,” she said in the caption of a post including pictures and a video of the crowd.
“An estimated 2.5 million people came to see me sing, the biggest crowd for any woman in history. I wish I could share this feeling with the whole world—I know I can’t, but I can say this—if you lose your way, you can find your way back if you believe in yourself and work hard. You can give yourself dignity by rehearsing your passion and your craft, pushing yourself to new heights— you can lift yourself up even if it takes some time. Thank you Rio for waiting for me to come back. Thank you little monsters all over the world. I love you. I will never forget this moment. Paws up little monsters. Obrigada. Love, Mother Monster,” she added.
