JMI VC interacts with teachers of the university

Newly appointed Jamia Millia Islamia(

JMI

) Vice-Chancellor,

Najma Akhtar

has had her first formal interaction with the

teachers

of the university at a function organised by the Jamia Teachers’ Association(JTA) on Tuesday.

During the interaction she said that JMI over the years has made a mark among the best institutions in the country and it is being regarded with a lot of respect not only among educationists and students but also among those who are involved in framing educational policies.

She spoke highly about the talent of the teachers in JMI and said that the type of research and courses that are available here are not found in any other university in the country.
