Archan Trivedi: Curing cancer with three words

Ahmedabad-based Gujarati actor, Archan Trivedi, always starts a conversation on the phone with three words, 'I love you sir.. How are you?'. His conversation started with the same words when he was detected with blood, lungs and lymph cancer.
Archan beleives in spreading the love and good cheer to all around him and reasons that when someone says, 'I love you,' with all their heart, the positivity of the words helps cure the ailing soul. Archan, now 50, has been cured of all the cancers that plagued him. He believes that it was his positive attitude towards life that has helped him fight the cancer.
Archan was diagonosed with the disease in the '90s when he was shooting for TV serial, 'Gunegar.' However, when he came to know about it, he decided to live a life his own manner. Today he is cancer free and despite that, he does not stop to say, 'I love you' to people.
The government of Gujarat had provided Archan with an aid of Rs 40000. However, when he recovered from cancer, he contacted the art-culture department to return the money, but since there was no provision for it, he donated the money to a cancer hospital.
Archan has performed in the Globe theater twice. When Amitabh Bachchan came to know about it, he said, "I always wanted to perform in Globe Theater, but did not get a chance yet, while you performed there twice!'
