Filmmaker Kabir Khan, known for hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and 83, has revealed that he is currently developing three distinct stories. While conversations with actors are underway, no cast members have been finalized. Addressing speculations about collaborations with Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Vicky Kaushal, Khan clarified that discussions are ongoing, but nothing is confirmed.
"I'm developing three different stories. I'm in the writing stage, and honestly, no actor is locked. As a director, I speak to many actors about potential projects. And who wouldn't want to work with Hrithik, Vicky, or Salman?" Khan shared in an interview with PTI. He added, "We develop a lot of ideas, but it doesn’t always mean it will be the next film. I might discuss an idea with one of them, but they could choose something else. There are many conversations happening."
Reports have hinted that Khan may work with Roshan on a post-apocalyptic thriller, a historical drama with Kaushal, and a commercial entertainer with Salman Khan. While Kabir Khan has previously collaborated with Salman in Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Tubelight, he is yet to team up with Roshan or Kaushal.
The Chandu Champion director mentioned that it would take at least three more months to finalize his next project. "If you ask me whether anything has been locked for the near future, no. I need some more time to decide," he stated.
Meanwhile, Khan is gearing up for the release of My Melbourne, an anthology film releasing on March 14. His segment, Setara, tells the poignant story of a 15-year-old Afghan girl who finds solace in cricket after fleeing the Taliban and settling in Melbourne. The anthology also features works by Rima Das, Imtiaz Ali, and Onir.
