Sankaran Nair, a prominent barrister who boldly challenged the British Empire in court following the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. Akshay Kumar steps into the role of Nair, with R Madhavan portraying British lawyer Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill. The film is adapted from the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.
