When Abhishek Bachchan addressed why Jaya Bachchan gets angry on the paparazzi: 'Dad, Aishwarya and I just hold hands, say a silent prayer'

It's Jaya Bachchan's birthday today and while lately, one has this opinion of her that she's always seeming angry and frustrated with the paps, she's the 'Guddi' girl. On her birthday, here's recalling the time when Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda had addressed why Jaya Bachchan is angry always with the paparazzi. The actress is many a times also seen in a good mood interacting with the paps. He had also joked about how Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and him feel when they have to go out with Jaya Bachchan where there are going to be paps.
Abhishek was asked about it on 'Koffee With Karan' and he told Karan Johar that they all pray in silence. Abhishek who is known for his witty sense of humour said, "If it's like the four of us, Dad, Aishwarya and I just hold hands, say a silent prayer before the red carpet. And then we collect ourselves and walk on. If Shweta Di is with us, we just send her with Maa."
Shweta Bachchan Nanda was also present on the same episode and she revealed the actual reason for her mom's behaviour. She said, "She gets very claustrophobic when there are too many people around her. She also doesn't like it when people take her pictures without asking her. She comes from that school of thought."
The actress is often seen getting angry on the paps when she is clicked without permission.
On work front, Jaya Bachchan was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', directed by Karan. Ahead of her birthday, Jaya was spotted at the airport with Abhishek and grand daughter Navya as they jetted off to an undisclosed destination, this was sans Aishwarya.
