When Jackie Shroff revealed he felt heartbroken after Madhuri Dixit got married to Shriram Nene

Rumours and speculations about Madhuri Dixit’s love life with her co-stars came to an end in 1999 when she married Dr Shriram Nene on October 17. However, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff once spoke about his deep admiration for her and referred to her as ‘Maddy’, ‘sexiest siren’, and more.
In an old conversation with Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan Season 5, Jackie made a candid confession about his discomfort in discussing certain personal matters with his father. However, he did not hold back when expressing his fondness for Madhuri Dixit.


During the rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked Jackie about the woman who had broken many hearts upon her marriage. Without hesitation, the veteran actor responded, "Obviously, Maddy, Madhuri." When Karan probed further, asking if she had broken his heart too, Jackie playfully confirmed, "Koi shaq? It was not like a break in my heart, but it was like ‘uff’."
Jackie’s admiration for Madhuri was evident throughout the segment, as he continued to mention her name in multiple answers. When asked about the "sexiest siren," he promptly replied, "It’s Madhuri. I can’t see beyond. I am so sorry. You might just have Madhuri in a lot of answers." Even when Karan inquired about the quintessential "girl next door," Jackie’s response remained unchanged—"Maddy." He also named Madhuri as his favourite in the next question.
