Sindhu Loknath recently added a new dimension to her experiences with a successful 45-minute scuba dive. The actress, who underwent comprehensive training from experts and was accompanied by an instructor during the dive, tells us, “This was one of the most incredible experiences ever.”“There’s a misconception that swimming is a prerequisite for scuba diving – that’s incorrect. Anyone can scuba dive effortlessly and safely by following simple breathing techniques taught beforehand,” she says.Reflecting on her underwater exploration in Netrani, Karnataka, the actress adds, “People usually prefer going abroad for scuba diving, but Netrani is equally impressive. The variety of fish and corals was mesmerising, and the water clarity made the marine creatures exceptionally visible. It is a perfect paradise for scuba diving, even for newcomers.”
