Poetry recitation album to bring six iconic works of Tagore to life

This Valentine’s Day, a new poetry recitation album titled Abhisar will bring six iconic works of Rabindranath Tagore to life. Voiced by Raja Das and Roya Chowdhury, the album explores the emotional landscapes of love through Tagore’s timeless verses.
The album features a range of poignant pieces, including Sojasuji, a duet performed by both artistes, Sadharon Meye, recited by Roya Chowdhury, and Strir Patra, narrated by Roya Chowdhury, which highlights one of Tagore’s most powerful female voices.
“Tagore’s poetry is intimate, reaching across generations,” said Roya Chowdhury. Raja Das added, “Each poem unfolds with a rhythm that not only tells a story but connects deeply with the listener.”
Abhisar will be available on major international audio streaming platforms February 14 onwards.
