'Pushpa' actor
Allu Arjun recently visited
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor
Pawan Kalyan's house to check on the health of Pawan's younger son, Mark Shankar. The visit comes after Mark suffered injuries in a
fire accident at his school in Singapore earlier this month. Accompanied by his wife
Sneha Reddy, Allu Arjun spent time with Pawan Kalyan's family and reportedly spoke with them for about an hour.
Mark Shankar's accident
On April 8, a fire broke out at Mark Shankar's school in Singapore, leaving him with burns on his hands and legs and causing respiratory issues due to smoke inhalation. Pawan Kalyan flew to Singapore to be by his son's side during treatment. After Mark recovered, Pawan returned to Hyderabad with his family on April 12. Videos of Pawan carrying Mark at the airport went viral.
Allu Arjun's visit
As per a OneIndia report, upon learning about the accident, Allu Arjun visited Pawan Kalyan's house to check on Mark's recovery despite political differences and personal tensions.
Alleged rift
There has been an alleged divide between the Mega and Allu families since last year's Andhra Pradesh elections, where Allu Arjun supported a YSRCP candidate while the Mega family stood firmly behind Pawan Kalyan's
Jana Sena Party. This political endorsement led to backlash from Mega fans, further widening the rift. Social media interactions between members of both families have also hinted at ongoing tensions, with incidents like Sai Dharam Tej unfollowing Allu Arjun.
Even professionally, differences have surfaced. While Pushpa 2 became a blockbuster success for Allu Arjun, none of the Mega heroes publicly acknowledged or congratulated him.
Speaking of the acting front, both the actors have some of the biggest films in their pipeline. Allu Arjun has collaborated with Atlee for their upcoming film, which is expected to be a grand superhero film tentatively titled 'AA22xA6'.
Allu Arjun is also expected to be working with director Trivikram Srinivas, their fourth collaboration after 'Julayi', 'S/O Satyamurthy', and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', is a highly anticipated socio-mythological fantasy. The project is rumored to feature Allu Arjun in the role of Lord Karthikeya.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', 'They Call Him OG' and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'.
