Jr NTR is working with the 'KGF' and 'Salaar' fame Prashanth Neel on the much anticipated grand project, which is tentatively titled 'NTRNEEL'. The movie is currently in the production phase, and recent reports suggest the makers have wrapped up their latest schedule.Karnataka schedule wrapped upAccording to a report by Odishatv, the latest schedule in Karnataka wrapped up on May 8, 2025.The shoot began earlier this year, with Prashanth Neel starting filming in March at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, initially without Jr NTR. After a brief schedule, the director moved to Karnataka for the first major schedule, and Jr NTR joined the team in the third week of April following his return from Japan. Since then, several key action sequences and important dialogue scenes featuring Jr NTR have been filmed, promising a high-octane cinematic experience.First look expected to unveil on Jr NTR's birthdayThe first official glimpse of Jr NTR’s avatar in the film is expected to be unveiled on his birthday, May 20, 2025. Jr NTR has undergone a remarkable physical transformation for the film. He is expected to be adopting a much leaner and chiselled look.The film is rumoured to be called 'Dragon'. 'Dragon' is described as a standalone period actioner. The film aims for a grand international release, targeting audiences across multiple languages.Rukmini Vasanth is expected to be the female lead who is known for her films like 'Sapta Saagara Daache Ello' and 'Bagheera'. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur, who previously worked on KGF and Salaar, while Bhuvan Gowda handles cinematography and Pranav Sri Prasad is the editor.The makers have announced a worldwide theatrical release date of June 25, 2026.
